Minimum Requirements: Candidate Profile

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following stringent requirements:

  • Medical Fitness: Certified fit for the role via a risk-based medical assessment conducted at our Occupational Health Centre
  • Security Clearance: Must pass security screening and clearance procedures
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a security or protection services environment
  • Education: Hold an NQF Level 4 qualification, including:
    • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12), or
    • National Senior Certificate for Adults (NASCA)
  • Proven capability to work effectively in high-pressure, structured environments

Responsibilities and Core Duties

The appointed Administrator Data Capture will be responsible for delivering high-impact administrative support to the Central Command and Control Centre by executing the following core duties:

1. Real-Time Data Capture and Management

  • Ensure accurate, timely capturing of critical information on a per-shift basis
  • Input data into the crime database system and other platforms used within Protection Services
  • Maintain electronic data integrity for operational and audit readiness

2. Data Storage and Availability

  • Organize and store original data securely
  • Make all records readily accessible for auditing, legal, or investigative use

3. Crime Data Retrieval and Analysis

  • Retrieve and analyze crime data to support decision-making
  • Feed insights into daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal use

4. Collaboration Across Departments

  • Work cooperatively with the Central Command and Control Centre, and other Protection Services departments
  • Participate in interdepartmental initiatives, strengthening data-driven security processes

5. Risk Identification and Mitigation

  • Take part in routine risk assessments
  • Recommend and implement corrective measures based on identified threats or vulnerabilities
