Key Requirements – PERSONNEL OFFICER HR OPERATIONS

To qualify for this role, you need:

  • Grade 12 (Matric Certificate) – No prior work experience is required.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Compensation Fund objectives and operations.
    • HR planning procedures and recruitment processes.
    • Relevant legislation (COIDA Act, Public Service Act, PFMA, OHS Act, etc.).
    • Stakeholder and customer relations (Batho Pele Principles).
  • Skills Required:
    • Technical proficiency (HR systems).
    • Business writing (reporting, correspondence).
    • Data capturing (accuracy and efficiency).

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Personnel Officer (HR Operations), your role will include:

  1. Managing Vacancy Filling – Assisting with job postings, shortlisting, and appointment processes.
  2. HR Information System Administration – Ensuring accurate employee data records.
  3. Recruitment & Selection Support – Coordinating interviews and onboarding.
  4. HR Records Management – Maintaining confidential employee files securely.
