About the Logistics Internship Gauteng 2025 at the Electoral Commission (IEC)
An enthusiastic graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement can apply for this 24-month internship at the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC), a constitutional institution established under Chapter 9 of the South African Constitution.
This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate (under 35 years old) who has never worked in their field of study or participated in an internship. The successful candidate will join the Gauteng Provincial Office logistics team, gaining hands-on experience in:
- Inbound and outbound logistics
- Warehousing, procurement, and distribution
- Electoral operations support
Key Responsibilities:
The intern will receive structured mentoring and training while assisting with:
- Inventory management, procurement, and distribution
- Delivery scheduling and supplier tracking
- Logistical operations for by-elections
- Document management, minute-taking, and reporting
- Maintenance of correspondence and filing systems
- Preparation of performance reports and presentations
- Electoral and financial administrative procedures
Essential Requirements: Logistics Internship Gauteng 2025
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Under 35 years old
- No prior work experience or internships in the relevant field
- Matric (N3/NQF Level 4) qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
