Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to provide hospitality, food, and beverage services for functions and events within the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).

Key Responsibilities : Hospitality Services Assistant Jobs

  • Set up, clear, and prepare meeting rooms, work cafés, boardrooms, and function venues
  • Serve food and beverages in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in work areas
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 22000, ISO 9001, and OHS&E standards
  • Provide courteous service to customers, visitors, and colleagues
  • Report shortages or breakages of cutlery and crockery
  • Handle lost and found items according to SARB procedures
  • Proactively identify service gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Work independently and resolve issues on-site

Essential Requirements – Hospitality Services Assistant Jobs

  • Grade 12 (NQF 4) or equivalent qualification
  • 1–2 years of experience in a hospitality-related environment
  • Advantage: Previous experience in the hospitality industry
