Minimum Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 34 years
- Must have completed Grade 12 (Matric) or possess an equivalent qualification/post-matric certificate
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must not be enrolled in full-time studies during the duration of the YES programme
- Must not have participated in any previous YES programme
- Must not have been employed permanently for more than 12 consecutive months with one employer
