-Grade 12
-Minimum of one year’s relevant experience in administrative support for water and sanitation operations, and fleet and asset management
-Computer literacy
-SAP experience is advantageous
-Must pass a criminal record check and cover the cost of fingerprinting by the Tshwane Metro Police Department

Primary Functions – City of Tshwane jobs


-Generate and complete service requests in the maintenance management system, including recording maintenance data
-Support the creation and tracking of purchase requisitions and reservations for procurement, monitoring their approval process
-Maintain and archive maintenance-related documentation, such as timesheets, quotations, and purchase requisition forms
-Assist the foreman in assigning service requests and preparing monthly performance reports
-Handle fleet management correspondence and inquiries

-Ensure efficient access to and flow of fleet management information
-Oversee the availability and reliability of vehicles and equipment for operations
-Manage the registration and deregistration of Cityowned or leased vehicles in IMIS with supervisor approval
-Process motor vehicle accident claims within 24 hours of receiving required documents, ensuring proper documentation and claim submission
-Conduct periodic movable asset control and verification
