Requirements:

– Qualification at NSC, NC(V) Level 4, SC, SC(Amended), or equivalent NQF Level 4 with proficiency in languages.

– Minimum of 2 years of office administration experience in an educational setting.

– Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

– Strong computer skills.

– Familiarity with basic office management principles.

– Ability to handle administrative and logistical aspects of projects, seminars, workshops, and meetings.

– Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

– Support the unit’s operational plan implementation.

– Assist in planning workshops, projects, and meetings, and maintain effective filing systems.

– Prepare meeting documents, manage emails, and perform photocopying tasks.

– Utilize MIS for task allocation to contract staff.

– Process and monitor claims, liaise with the finance unit, and manage budgets.

– Arrange logistics and prepare for meetings and related activities.

– Organize travel arrangements and liaise with travel agencies for bookings.

– Maintain electronic databases and manage document flow.

– Take meeting minutes, type them up, and distribute to relevant parties.

– Screen calls, record messages, and address queries.
