The successful candidates will be responsible for administering social grants at their respective local offices. This includes receiving and processing applications, providing front-line client support, and ensuring that all operations comply with relevant legislative and policy frameworks. The role demands high attention to detail, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to work with diverse communities in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Entry Requirements: SASSA social grant administrator jobs
- A Senior Certificate / Matric (NQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification is essential.
- Competent computer literacy skills are a must, including familiarity with data entry systems and basic office software.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is advantageous.
- Previous work experience in an administrative, customer service, or clerical environment will be beneficial.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the administration and processing of social grants in line with SASSA procedures.
- Conduct pre-screening and verification of grant applications and supporting documents.
- Accurately capture grant application data into SASSA’s system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to applicants and beneficiaries.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
- Manage and safeguard grant-related documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with PFMA (Public Finance Management Act), Section 57, and all other relevant regulations.
- Support general office administration and reporting as needed.
