- Grade 10 (Grade 12 will be an added advantage).
- Valid Driver’s License (added advantage).
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (must be bilingual).
- Ability to follow & execute given instructions.
- Good physical health, basic skill & know-how of performing physical work.
- A hard-working, self-disciplined person.
- 01-year relevant experience in general work related to the Purification Section within a Local Government Authority.
DUTIES
- Ensure that the section’s materials and equipment are safely loaded and unloaded with gloved hands and safety equipment.
- Post warning signs informing motorists of workers operating near municipal roads during excavation.
- Clean in and around the working area of responsibility using brooms and various manual labor equipment/tools to maintain a clean environment.
- Perform any labor-related tasks as requested by the supervisor or superintendent of the section.
- Execute all lawful instructions from the supervisor to ensure productivity and smooth operations within the section.
- Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.

SALARY & CONTRACT DETAILS
- Salary: R149.40 per day (EPWP General Worker daily rate).
- Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (2 years).
