Job Overview: Courier Code 10 in Johannesburg

In this position, you will be responsible for handling ground operations, including dispatch, pick-up and delivery (both domestic and international), as well as customer support. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all operational procedures at hub and station sites run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing sorting operations, ramp handling, and delivering top-tier courier services. Your efforts will play a key role in maintaining FedEx’s operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ground Operations Management: Overseeing on-road operations including pick-up, delivery, and dispatch services for both local and international shipments.
  • International and Domestic Logistics: Handling shipments from domestic pick-ups to international deliveries while adhering to FedEx’s high standards.
  • Hub and Station Support: Ensuring efficient operations at various hub and station locations by overseeing sorting and ramp activities.
  • Client Support: Acting as a key contact for customer inquiries and ensuring high-level service delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively with fellow employees to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
  • Attention to Detail and Safety: Ensuring all processes are carried out accurately, efficiently, and safely.
