Key Responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant in Claims

As an Administrative Assistant for the Claims Department, you will provide vital support to ensure smooth daily operations. Here’s what your role will entail:

1. Compliance Administration

Administrative Assistants are expected to ensure that all department records remain up to date. This involves:

  • Maintaining and updating written records related to department activities.
  • Verifying that internal policies and procedures are followed consistently.
  • Staying informed on the latest business goals and internal standards to maintain strong internal controls.

2. Office Coordination and Task Management

You’ll help maintain the overall office flow by:

  • Following up on unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensuring that all requests are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Managing department stationery supplies to ensure availability.
  • Verifying and confirming data for proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Maintaining and updating systems and registers.

Qualifications Required
